NEAD offers Support Packages for schools; bespoke schemes of work covering global aspects which fit your needs and embed into your curriculum.

 

Most popular are World Voices' visits, International Arts Festivals, The Windmill Project and One World Days of workshops and action planning plenaries, with optional showcase presentations for parents and the community as a finale. We offer cluster work, including INSETs or Making Connections projects.

  • World Voices

    NEAD maintains a wide network of contacts offering schools’ work — musicians, storytellers, puppeteers, dancers, artists and craftspersons and others, as well as people who can come into both schools and other organisations to run interactive workshops on development issues.

  • Training

    NEAD offers a wide range of programmes and resources specifically tailored to the requirements of teachers at all levels. Including a new 2012 INSET menu, featuring The Olympics & The Global Dimension as well as Diveristy and more:

  • Primary

    NEAD’s schools work service focuses on Global Learning. It aims to raise awareness and increase understanding of the wider world and show how everyone can participate in the creation of a more equal and just global society.

  • Secondary

    NEAD's secondary school project is Global English - improving speaking and listening. There is a secondary Support Packages Menu including conferences and workshops: run either by trained NEAD staff and volunteers or experienced facilitators from other organisations, countries and cultures.

  • Information/Signposting

    NEAD specialises in connecting people to discover more about global issues and solutions. NEAD has a network of facilitators, World Voices, schools, faith groups, campaigners and others.
