Description of the sessions

Workshops offered:

  • Diversity - anti-racism, anti-bullying and diversity
  • Leadership - the life and work of Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu
  • Conflict Management - the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission
  • HIV/Aids - about the disease, the stigmas and prejudices, the impact of HIV/Aids in Africa. The workshop is modelled on the life and work of the late South African Aids activist, 12 year old, Nkosi Johnson.

All Rainbow Nations' workshops are colourful, vibrant and interactive. A huge impact is made through learning by experience, role-play and lively discussions. The workshops are also packed with visual materials and DVDs containing actual footage on South Africa, its politics, history, leaders and Rainbow Nation!
