UEA Volunteer Global Voices
Global Voices is a unique opportunity for international students at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and schools in Norwich and Norfolk to learn from each other and share their understanding of global citizenship. Global Voices are volunteers from countries outside of the European Union who, after some initial training at UEA, are prepared to deliver sessions and presentations in schools about the culture of their home country.
The list of currently available Global Voices can be seen at the Global Voices Profiles page.
After choosing a suitable volunteer from the above list, the school then needs to contact UEA Volunteers for the details of the volunteer(s) that would be most suitable. UEA Volunteers will then send you their contact details. It is then the responsibility of the school to organise everything directly with the volunteer(s) themselves, to organise and pay for their travel to the school and to reimburse any agreed resource expenses for the sessions.
Full details about the project are at the UEA Volunteer Global Voices website.
