Working in schools across Norfolk
All of us have the power — through the everyday choices we make — to affect the lives of others, both in our own communities and in countries far away, and to make a positive difference. This principle shapes NEAD’s activities in working with teachers and pupils in schools across Norfolk.
A global dimension in the classroom
We support teachers and student-teachers in meeting requirements to include a global dimension in their lessons and to tackle racism. We provide pupils with the opportunity to learn about the wider world we live in, and to understand global matters in order to make choices about how they want to lead their lives. We run participative educational activities and promote the often-unheard voices of people from minority ethnic groups.
Our aim is to help our future citizens to build a better world by working locally for global justice and equality.
