NEAD is a membership organisation. Members support our work and become part of our network. They:
- gain access to information on development issues
- are kept in touch with our activities and how they can get involved
- can borrow educational resources from our library and that of the Greenhouse (environmental issues)
- receive three newsletters per year/ membership term. We have been told that these are a joy to read (and contribute to)!

Become a Core Member or Friend of NEAD
Core Members
Core Members literally form the core of NEAD’s support… By paying a higher subscription rate than Friends, Core Members provide us with even greater unrestricted financial freedom. Core Members can also help shape the organisation by voting at our AGM and EOGMs. The membership term is either one year or life (as a Life Member, paying a larger amount to stay in touch with NEAD for the rest of your lives!).
Friends of NEAD
Friends are schools, groups or individuals who often join particularly in order to borrow resources from our library and receive newsletters. Friends do not have the right to vote at meetings. The membership term is one year.

Payment
You can pay us in several ways:
- by standing order (complete the Membership Form’s Standing Order section)
- by cheque (made payable to NEAD)
- by postal order.
Your Term of Membership begins when we receive your full subscription amount.
