How you can get involved and make a difference

As a non-profit, membership-based organisation, we need your support. You could become a member of NEAD, make a donation or organise an event to raise awareness and funds for local development work.

Become a Member

Becoming a member of NEAD is a great way to support NEAD, keep in touch with our activities, achievements and news, as well as accessing information on development issues.

Members can borrow resources from our resources library - for FREE. You will also receive three NEAD newsletters per year, gain access to the members only Resources area of this website (full of the best, most up to date and also locally produced resources), as well as 10% discount on services for schools!

To join NEAD, please print out and complete either the Individual's Membership Form or Schools’ Membership Form, returning it to us with your remittance.

As with all charities, NEAD has ongoing costs that cannot be fully met from project funding. In order to maintain essential core services (for example, the ), we need to raise unrestricted income. We welcome one-off donations, standing orders are particularly valuable to us, or people organising fundraising events on our behalf.

Our Donate buttons allow you to set up your own online fundraising facility - simply set up your page and send out the link inviting people to give (and Gift Aid it). You can tailor pages for personal challenges, events, for a special occassion or in honour of someone special.

Volunteer

Please note that we are currently unable to take on new general volunteers.

If you believe that you would be an asset to NEAD in your particular field please do get in touch. Specific skill-sets required by NEAD currently include: workshop facilitation, filming and editing, development education or knowledge of a different country or culture.
