How you can get involved and make a difference
As a non-profit, membership-based organisation, we need your support. You could become a member of NEAD, or make a donation.
Become a Member
Becoming a member of NEAD is a great way to support our work, keep in touch with our activities, achievements and news, and access information on development issues.
Members can borrow resources from both our libraries for free, and that of the Greenhouse (an environment education centre, in Norwich). You will also receive three NEAD newsletters per year, a FREE USB pen-drive of dev resources and links, access to the members only areas of this website (full of the best, most up to date and also locally produced resources), as well as generous discounts on services for schools!
To join NEAD, please print out and complete either the Individual's Membership Form (PDF, 210 KB) or Schools’ Membership Form (PDF, 114 KB) and return it to us with your remittance.
Make a Donation
As with all charities, NEAD has ongoing costs that cannot be fully met from project funding. In order to maintain essential core services (for example, the Resources Library), we need to raise unrestricted income. We welcome one-off donations, standing orders, or people organising fund-raising events on our behalf.
Volunteer
Please note that we are currently unable to take on new volunteers, except those with specific skill-sets: teaching, workshop facilitation, development education or knowledge of a different country or culture.
