The Educate To Communicate Project
NEAD is excited to be offering FREE ACTIVITIES for groups of young people aged 11 – 19, including a FREE BROADS TRIP.
We will deliver a FREE, fun and engaging session of TEAM BUILDING and COMMUNICATION challenges for your group, at your location.
FREE TRAINING & RESOURCES SUPPORT will be included for youth workers or group leaders, to help them improve the group’s communication skills, self confidence and employability.
Also, a FREE DAY TRIP to The Broads is on offer (optional)! Activity choices include; a FREE BOAT TRIP, practical conservation work, GPS geo-caching, dyke dipping and peat coring, and finishing-up with marshmallows and hot chocolate around a bonfire.
Adaptable to youth clubs, after school groups and other groups of young people.
To qualify for free involvement groups need to be based in Norfolk (NOTE: this has been extended from the previous restriction of 'within the Broads area'). Our facilitator is trained and DBS checked, and the Broads trip is led by our partners The Broads Authority, or a relevant equivalent. With thanks to our funder the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
All the latest project news can be found on it's project page.
Please do contact: Michelle Snelling, ETC Project Coordinator, to discuss how your young people, or youth leaders can take up this fantastic offer!
